BUCKLE – SCULPTURAL BELT FOR BRIDAL SUIT

A unique collaboration bringing together the worlds of sculpture and bridal fashion. Arturo Berned designed a sculptural buckle for a bride’s ensemble, merging geometric artistry with sartorial elegance. The buckle, crafted from aluminum and finished with a glass microsphere sandblasting technique, measures 24 centimeters in length.

The design process began with a 3D-printed model, tested in Studio Berned to explore various attachment methods. From this prototype, a first iteration of the buckle was made in aluminium to assess its weight and fit on the bride. The final fitting ensured the piece complemented the bride’s elegant suit, with the curvature of the belt crafted precisely to her measurements. This bespoke accessory was created in collaboration with designers Macarena Gavira and Javier Zumárraga of From Lista With Love, known for their innovative approach to bridal fashion.

This unique accessory exemplifies the harmonious blend of structural design and personal expression, adding a distinctive touch to the bride’s attire along with creating an everlasting piece that holds the memory of this cherished day.
