EXPERIMENTS IN SPACE – SOLO EXHIBITION AT METROPOLI FOUNDATION

Arturo Berned presents a new solo exhibition at Fundación Metrópoli in Madrid. ​

The exhibition brings together a selection of his corten steel sculptures, including works from the series HEADS / CABEZAS and DAMES / DAMAS. These pieces reflect an ongoing exploration of geometry, balance and volume, where the material’s strength and natural oxidation become part of the sculptural language.

Alongside the finished works, the exhibition also includes a dedicated area showing part of Berned’s creative process: working models, pieces in progress and studio materials that offer a closer look at how each sculpture develops from an initial idea into its final form. This setting creates a dialogue between sculpture, architecture and space, inviting visitors to move around the works and experience how perspective, light and scale transform each piece.

The exhibition will be on view at Fundación Metrópoli — EcoBox, Madrid, until June 2027.
